We are delighted to present the newest improvements and features in TimeGuru that will optimise your time tracking and project management.
In this update, we have enhanced employee notification capabilities to ensure accurate weekly registration.
Version 3.8 covers updates from May/June/July 2026.
Send notifications regarding missing registration and week approval
Now, you can notify about missing registration and/or week approval based on employee type.
The system checks the current week and sends a notification if a workday has no entries.
To enable notifications for specific employee types, go to Master Data (the gear icon in the top right corner) -> Employee Types -> Edit -> Enable the desired notification by checking the box.
Set activity choice first in registration
We have had customers request that the activity choice appear first when users make a registration. We have therefore added an option for this.
Go to system settings -> 3. Worksheet options -> ‘What options would you like to add?’ -> ‘Set activity choice first in registraiton’.
More integration options
TimeGuru can now also integrate with the HR systems Humaans and Emply to exchange employee master data. Humaans can additionally exchange data regarding woriking hours and vacation/absence.

User features
- Copy registration from approved week: Now it is possible to copy a registration from a previous, approved week and insert it into the current week.
Leader features
- Sum of breaks in the manager’s weekly approval module: You can now view the total break time for employee types without fixed pauses.
- Weekends in the week plan: If weekends are enabled in the user’s profile, they will now be displayed in the week plan.
Admin features
- Hide customer, project, and task by employee type: It is now possible to hide certain elements when specific employee types create a record.
