We are delighted to present the newest improvements and features in TimeGuru that will optimise your time tracking and project management.
Our latest update focuses on reports to provide leaders and administrators with an efficient and accurate overview.
Version 3.6 covers updates from January-February 2026.
Automatic monthly reports
Several customers have requested the option for managers and custom approvers to receive periodic reports about their own employees. The reports can be sent to managers regarding their own staff or to selected email addresses.
The report can include information about employees’ vacation, absence, flex time, time bank, and weekly approval. You can choose how frequently the reports should be sent out.
To turn on automatic reporting, go to Menu -> System settings -> Select modules (Tab 2) -> Automatic reporting.
Automatic sending of the time report
It is already possible to create a template with your own configuration of the time registration report. Now you can also enable automatic sending of these report templates.
The feature can be found under the relevant template in the reports module by selecting ‘Edit’ (the pencil icon) placed to the right of the template under ‘Filters’.
As with the function described above, you can specify both the time interval and the recipients for the automatic report.

Week plan
- Administrators and leaders can now enable a new function in the week plan that displays approval status for the past three weeks, using clear colors that provide a quick overview.
- If an employee is missing approval for a given weekan click on the relevant user and week to be automatically directed to the correct view in the admin timesheet.
- Additionally, the week plan can now also display working hours for the past three weeks.
- It is now possible to navigate between weeks, allowing you to quickly get an overview of the plan for the upcoming week.
Flextime view
- Users can now choose whether they want to see flex balances for the previous day, the same day, or both.
Updates for leaders
Remove approval: You can now remove approval from invoices. Please note that this will create a gap in your sequence of approved invoice numbers.
Project name in invoice list: If projects are enabled, the ‘Project’ column will now be visible in the invoice list.
Notification for missing approval: In the manager approval report, you can send notifications to users and department leaders whose timesheets have pending approvals.
